@Marigold I have done two weeks fasting and I didn't lose anything in the 2nd week either. It's disheartening isn't it? Scales are funny things though, you mightn't see much this week but it could all show up next week.

I'm back to it this week and I'm going to be careful not to overdo it on the feast days PLUS start some walking and easy toning exercises.
Yeah, I'm going to blame my scales Seriously they are not the digital type and I generally give or take a couple of kilos. So maybe I did lose a little, it's just so hard to tell.
I'm feeling better within myself though. Just having a goal and getting into the zone is a positive step.
I'll get there I'm 6 kg away from my ideal weight so hoping I'll be fit and ready by summer!

Can anyone tell me how many calories are in a cup of coffee with full milk and two sugars? (regular size mug at home) I've had two today I'd rather drink my calories in the form of coffee than eat a boiled egg :/

No I don't have it anymore, I used to but didn't like it. I think I'm just to impatient to put all the stuff in it and count calories... I probably should check it out again now that I'm doing the 5:2....

I'm the same, i only use it on fasting days, could not be bothered doing that every single day.

You can usually just google ' how many cals in ×' and it will come up the top with a little drop down menu to change the size. So that might be an option as well?

Hi guys, back on the bandwagon and did two fast days this week incl yesterday. Was planning on doing a 3rd day today but I think that would be too much for me back to back. I hopped on the scales this morning (I knew it was after a fast day!) but was stoked to see my weight lower than it's been since my first pregnancy, I'm now 71.9. In sure it will go up today and then I have a big weekend planned but I'm not far now from getting under the 70kgs mark!!!!

Was 67.7 kgs when I got married.....I know I'll get back there again soon! Also a couple of colleagues asked me yesterday if id lost weight woo hoo!!!!

It's my second fasting day today. Not even 9am and my stomach is screaming at me. I bought some chia seeds last night too, so hopefully popping some of those in a low cal yoghurt will keep me full until dinner (:

I have resisted temptation to weigh myself early. I just need to hold out until tomorrow! (Unless it's bad to weigh in the day after a fast day? I'm not sure tbh)

This is harder than I thought. Going to try and do more time on the treadmill I think.

Had an awesome loss yesterday after my 3 fasting days and gain of last week! I went UP to 78.8 from 78.1 last week then yesterday I was down to 77.1 :-) have decided to stick with just 2 fast days again for now but for the month of December I'm going to do 3 a week so I can eat all the yummy xmas foods without feeling guilty lol

Yesterday was another fasting day for me and I feel great. I managed to stick to lots of water, soda water with lemon juice and a coffee before the hunger pangs got the better of me mid afternoon and I had a bowl of pumpkin soup (130 cals). Then it was another coffee and lots more water and a couple of pieces of skinless grilled chicken breast at dinner.
My next fast day will be Saturday and then again Monday followed by a third on Wednesday. Go hard or go home
The scales are definitely showing a loss now, but obviously as yesterday was a fast day that's only natural so I'll weigh again in a weeks time for a more accurate result.

Hey ladies, I've been following this thread and am currently introducing 1 fast day at 700 cal as I am still bf'ing. Supply is holding up fine and I am made up to have dropped a couple of kgs. I've been having this soup on fast days - it's only 82 cal per serve so you can have the whole tin for 164 cal and it's really filling too.ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1415849673.081886.jpg
