I enjoy seeing my lowest weight the day after a fast and then expect it to be a little bit more after a feast day (maybe 300-500g more).
Today I am having:
Cup a soup
Tuna and lettuce salad
Maybe Hummus dip with carrot tonight
You could always do a 6:1 to start with, or fast until lunch on the second day. I don't think there's any hard and fast rules, basically you're squeezing a calorie deficit into a day or two instead of spreading it out over the week. Do you work 5 days a week? It might be hard to consistently fast on weekends. Although I hear the fasting gets easier after a couple of weeks anyway...
I do my fasting on Mondays and Thursday and I weigh in on Wednesdays. I figure that gives me a good reflection of what my real loss is cause I've had a normal day in between fasting and weighing. Also it gives me motivation for the fast day the next day lol.
Feels good to crack a barrier! Weight in the high 80s instead of low 90s
