Default Daylight savings- love or hate!

I've read 4 comments from different people on Facebook today talking about their hatred for daylight savings because it messes with their kids sleep for weeks.

This is my first year with a baby, so I might have a shock ahead but I love daylight savings, love the sun being up to later!

Do you love or hate daylight savings? Why?

I love it, it means I can go for a run after dinner. I don't exercise through winter as I'd have to get up and run in the dark or run in the dark at night.

In saying that, this is my first daylight savings with a toddler - she was a baby last year so it didn't really affect her. She has a blockout shutter on her window though so the sun doesn't seem to affect her too much (hopefully).

Hate is too strong a word and I see the benefits to it, but I'm not a huge fan. I'm one of those strange people who love winter...

I'm in qld (we don't have it) and I sooooo much wish we did! My ds1 gets up at 5ish atm, by the time it's full on summer he's up before 5 regularly, cause the sun wakes him up. He has no problem going to bed, even if it's still light.

Love it - our kids naturally change their sleep with the seasons and are ready to get up either later or earlier as they slowly warp that way.
Was in Queensland one year and without savings our kids were getting up ridiculously early.

LOVE - I really hate summer in terms of the heat - the only good thing about it is Day light savings! I love the long evenings! Hate in winter when it gets dark at 4.30!

Love it! It means we can get out for a walk after dinner. It doesn't affect my kids sleep too much
