    Default TTC after Mirena removal

    Hello everyone,

    I am hoping to get some other peoples experience on TTC after having a mirena removed. Did it take long? How long before your first period? I so desperately want to be able to start trying now but feel I may have missed the boat this month, but then again not sure.

    Help!!!

    I had the mirena for 3 years and had it removed, it took 8 weeks for my period to come back.
    I wasn't TTC but thought if share of when my period came back.
    It was pretty regular after my first period too.

    I had the mirena for 12 months before having it removed to ttc.
    I had some heavy bleeding 2 days after it was taken out for about 4-5 days.
    Nothing after that but got a bfp last month

    I had the mirena for 5 years had it taken out and was pregnant 4 months later however I had an mc then again in sept another mc and got a sticky one in December and had her in august.

    My cycles didn't change with Mirena removal - so had a period 2 weeks later, and then BFP the very next cycle. Unfortunately I had a MC at 9 weeks so now TTC again.

    Thanks for the replies. I ended up getting AF on 22nd September....

    And this morning for a BFP!!! Fingers crossed this is a sticky one. I have read lots of stories where people fall quickly after removal and end up mc.

    I had my Mirena removed after just over ten years (I'd left it for so long because it was still working and I wasn't getting my periods). I had a bleed after it was removed but it wasn't AF as such, then approximately a month later had AF then got my BFP. I'll be 34 weeks pregnant on Monday, no mc.
