    Default Let's get organised!

    I work 4 full days a week ( and 1 half day)
    I'm out the door 6am-6pm.
    I need some life hacks
I put load washing on over night and hang in morning ( then put load on for day for avo)
    Any other tips?

I work four days a week too, out the door at 6am and not home until 5pm.

I cook dinner one night ahead, or plan stuff that cooks in 15 minutes. My Tupperware micro steamer is a God send ATM, as is my slow cooker.

The dishwasher gets loaded every night so the kitchen is clean. I get the toaster out the night before too so it's just that little bit quicker in the morning to get the kids their breakfast. Some mornings they have an 'up n go' for breakfast if we're short on time.

As for washing, I do our uniforms and sheets on the weekend and that way, it's doesn't matter if I don't do a load through the week because we've got enough for the week - this includes any ironing.

Lunches are done the night before as well.

I also have a cleaner who comes in once a week for an hour, just to do the floors and bathroom. It makes a HUGE difference.

Don't sit down until everything is done......you may not get back up again

I do everything the night before. I have 4 kids so all lunches, permission slips, uniforms/clothes, shoes, hats etc is sll organised ready to go. I am lucky I don't have to leave until 7.30am but getting myself and 4 kids out the door on time requires extreme organization.

I try and make dinner easy on work nights eg: meat and salad or something in the slow cooker.

I put a load of washing on as soon as we are home and hang out before bed (we have 3 clothes airers in the rumpus and put some stuff in the dryer)

Menu planning is very helpful too.

Slow cooker meals overnight, out in fridge and then heat when you get home.

Or slow cooker in the morning before you leave of course - depends how tight your morning is.
