    Default Egg Donation In Taiwan

Hi everyone! Due to the recent Thailand law changes, the Thai agency I had signed up with has officially cancelled my egg donation cycle and I'm now researching possibilities in Taiwan, particularly because I'm interested in an Asian donor. Has anyone used or is using a donor in Taiwan? What agency/clinic did/are you using? What is/has been your experience there? Any recommendations or "gotchas" for using a donor in Taiwan?

    Hope to hear from everyone....

Hi Project Stork I'm interested in this area as well. I've only just started looking into it tonight so I would love to hear how you go. I've found this interesting website that compares different countries prices, rules etc...I know Taiwan does egg donations - but not commercially. I've asked a Taiwanese friend about it and hoping to hear soon . Will keep you updated.

    Hi, Ladies
I am a Taiwanese live in Australia for many years and had done my treatment in Adelaide.
Regarding to the egg donation in Taiwan, it is legal that clinics can source egg donors for clients and with a fee around A$3K~5K, plus a stim cycle A$7K.
So practically it can be done in A$12K(depends on the change rate and which clinics you choose).
Some clinics have excellent pregnancy rate and I'd checked no long ago even foreigners can use an egg donor there legally.
However, you need to be married( de fecto relationship is not recognized in Taiwan) so you need your marriage certificate certified before you go.
The waiting period is around 3 months and only simple counseling involved.
Currently the best doctor in the market is Chi-Huang Chen, M.D., Ph.D from Taipei Medical University Hospital.
However, he is very very popular and he finishes seeing patients almost mid-night.
Other doctors in the same hospital are also quite good.
    Hope it helps.
