Default Help! Ideas for busy box

    Hi everyone,
I am due to have a baby October 1st, but she can come any day now.
I am thinking of doing up some busy boxes for my kids for not only when bub comes home, but for when the kids visit us in hospital (c section).
Ds is 4 years old. He has an ipad, but will only use it for 20 mins or so until he wants a new activity.

Dd1 is 10, she wouldn't need a busy box for home, as she does her own thing, but some hospital activities would be good.

Dd2 is 9, and same as dd1, just looking for hospital activities really.

I've already been lectured that the kids should just be happy to meet their new sister, but the reality is, hospitals are boring, and newborns while very cute, can be quite boring to kids.

So ideas of what I could put in the boxes? Xo

For the older two, would some puzzle type books keep them occupied?

Word search, crosswords, maybe a new pencilcase with some new stationary?
It's not messy, but may keep them busy.

If they got into that looming craze, maybe a mixed bag of those and a loom each? Or some hair accessories and some instructions on 'new' hairstyles for them to try.

For your son, what about a few toy cars? Or those packs of farm animals etc you can get from the reject shop?

    Colouring books?
