Default Brisbane Nurture Clinic - what do I take?

I'm just packing for my stay starting tomorrow. What should I be packing? They have a very brief list on their website. But..

    - should I pack solids for my LO?

    - I won't be able to do any washing during my stay, will I?

    - they did tell me. But to clarify, what time is 'check in?'

    - can you leave the centre during the day to go from pram walks?

Any other tips for the week will be appreciated

    Hi,

No need to pack solids, they provide all food. You'll be given menus for yourself and lo. The food is awesome!

no, there are no washing facilities there so bring enough clothes for duration. Check out is Saturday.

i don't know if they stagger the check ins but I had to check in about 10am I think. Maybe call them tomorrow and ask.

Yes you can leave. I think you just sign out and let your nurse know. I had a very new baby when I went there so I didn't leave at all.

good luck, I really enjoyed my stay there.

    Thankyou @adeline14
I'm just waiting for them to open so I can call.

Should I take my baby monitor or not?

How close is Bub sleeping from mum each night?

I took my baby monitor but didn't use it. They have a camera in each room by the cot and you can see them in the lounge area where the monitor is set up on the nurses desk.

I didn't have to be there until about 11am from what I remember.

If your little one is having solids and is a messy eater maybe take some nappy San or something to soak clothes in the bathroom sink, otherwise they sit for a week! They provide food for you and bub (if they eat solids).

There is a shopping centre that you can walk to. A bit hilly, but I found it nice to get out of the hospital each day and I needed to grab a few things from woolies.

There is a coffee shop on site that does lovely coffee.

Make sure you have enough clothes for the both of you for the week (unless you have someone close by who can bring you more).

I found my stay great. Really helped me with my little boy.
