Not meaning to be offensive, but are you implying that feeling humiliated is an excuse for the understanding of basic physiology?

A pregnant belly can be completely hidden under a 150-160 kg body (which was the size of the woman I knew who gave birth without knowing) she was rushed to hospital in an ambulance under suspicion of poisoning because of the stomach cramps with her husband chasing in the car behind.
Have birth to a boy that night. Had no need or desire to hide it or pretend it wasn't happening. Had been trying for a decade.
I'm genuinely happy that this person you knew was able to have their longed for child, but I'm sorry. I sincerely find it hard to believe that someone who had been TTC - for a decade - was not able to know that they were pregnant.

I don't think she needs your happiness or closed minded ness. Your post is really condescending. It happened. You weren't there. I'll move on now.

Oh, and I fell pregnant when I was 19 when using the 'withdrawal method'...it happens a lot.

I think the thing that offends me about this thread is the mean spirited nature of some of the responses. A little kindness can go a long way. Not everyone knows as much about conception as many of us die-hard Hubbers...perhaps that's why the OP came here to ask her questions.

OP good luck with the testing tomorrow. I'm going to close this thread now as all we can continue to do is speculate, which isn't helping anyone.

Come back and update after you have tested.
