Default When would you go to the doctor?

I am 34 and my partner and I have been trying to conceive since Nov last year. I went off the pill and my periods were irregular, then I had 3 months that were almost normal and my last cycle was 53 days.

when would you go to a doctor? Should I wait a bit longer or just bite the bullet and see what they can do to help?

Go now and say you've been trying a year and a half. I only say this because they may tell you to go away and come back in 6 months time and that is mega frustrating.

I'd go now too. I stopped the pill in May 2012 and was at the dr six months later wanting to get checked out. I was 34 and had been on the pill for 16 years and my periods varied from 29 days to 40 days

Well I decided to POAS today as this cycle has just gotten ridiculous long and I have been waking up at night with cramps. So the test had come back positive. I am not getting ahead of myself. Looks like I will be going to the doctor one way or the other.
