Default Any low HCG success stories?

I got my BFP on Monday. Had bloods on Wednesday and found out today they were 45. Doctor sent me for an ultrasound to rule out ectopic and they couldn't see anything, in tubes or uterus. She said I might be too early. Going my period dates (last one 5th august) I am 5 weeks 2 days, but I ovulate late. Last cycle I got my last positive opk on 25th so could have ovulated 26/27th. So I could have been 15dpo when blood was taken. Is there still a chance this could be viable? Anyone have very low hcg how did it end up?

Mine was 27 at what I thought was 4w0d (17dpo) but I think I may have been a little earlier than I thought... I'm now 35w2d... Has your doctor sent you for more bloods to see if the levels are doubling? Hang in there :-) & good luck!

Thanks for that positive story....were you sure of your last AF date? I go on Monday to get another blood test, she forgot to give me the referral when she rushed me off for the ultrasound.

I was positive of AF date but was a guess as to when I ovulated, we weren't trying or using any protection as DS (1st pregnancy) was IVF bub so we didn't think we needed to also wasn't tracking anything... So it was 4 weeks using AF dates but just not sure using O days... I went for a date scan and showed a few days early.

If I was you I'd go back to your doctor to do more bloods, your HCG can start low but as long as it's doubling at the right rate then you can have more confidence in your pregnancy. The next test I had showed my HCG was doing what it should.

Thanks so much for that, I guess it just shows that it isn't about when your last AF date is as not everyone has a textbook cycle.

At 16dpo my HCG was 95. I am certain of dates as it was IVF. The clinic only considered 100 or above to be pregnant so I was told I was in a 'grey area.'

    I am now 38 weeks

At 17dpo my hcg was 112. Had a scan that showed nothing at all. All worked out and this baby is due tomorrow

Have they booked you in for a scan? I don't want to sound alarming, but your doubling time is very similar to my first ectopic. It would be good to rule that out x
