    @tazz475 Beautiful photo of bub!

    My doppler arrived and I wasted no time. Didn't have to search long, bub seems to enjoy being at the top of my uterus atm. The most beautiful sound in the world

    All going well, I was thinking of getting a Doppler this time around......do you ladies have any you'd recommend? From how early do they seem to pick up bubba heart beats??

    I definitely want a Doppler this time around too, so I'll be following these comments with interest.
    I was thinking of just hiring one from the chemist because I assume they're medical grade ones and therefore more sensitive and reliable. Does anyone know if that's the case, or if they're not really much different from "home use" ones?

    Ladies, maybe just confirm you don't have an anterior placenta before you fork out for a Doppler. I was keen but when I found out I have one I decided not to. Apparently you can't use the Doppler in those cases until almost the point where you can feel it moving!

    Not trying to tell you what to do but I just know they're expensive!

    @Sally1981 I've definitely got a posterior placenta. I asked and everything after you said something about yours the other day.

    Mine cost $65 but you can get them cheaper. It works just fine too.

    Depends on which one you get. The technology in them is similar. I have a home use one, and I have no problems with it - it works just fine. No need to hire something really expensive.
