@lilyloubelle I have been pregnant every 6 months since DS was 6 months old...first ended in ectopic, 3 others m/c and now this one. So apparently it takes me 2/3 months to conceive and I'm over 35. But it took me longer to conceive the first time so maybe my body is just on baby making mode now? I saw my GP at the 6 week mark since the ectopic so he can send me for a viability scan and each time I've m/c'ed I've been told to wait one cycle before ttc again. My OB won't see patients before 8-9 weeks usually, but with my history she will see me at 7 (this way I'm "her" patient if anything goes wrong).

Double posting because I'm sick of the lack of paragraph breaks in my post (stupid internet explorer).

OMG THEY WORKED!!! (I need to get a life)
@French Pear, had a bit of a scary week because the wiggling calmed down a lot after I spend a morning packing up our spare room. It was quite a work out and I think I strained some ab muscles. But the wiggles are still there - I just have to try harder to feel them through the discomfort. I have booked in for my 20 week scan. The doctors already know the gender since I had the NIP test done at 10 weeks, but we have requested NOT to be told. So as long as no one lets slip....

I'm so happy that you're doing so well and at 30 weeks. YAY! Just tell yourself that if the baby comes now they have a great chance, and every day is another day they're bigger and stronger. DS is a 36 weeker and he's average height and weight now, and we like to think above average intelligence and I have a friend who has 3 35 weekers who are all above average height and weight. So I have a good feeling that your little one will be fine.
@Cat74 I'm not sure about the others here, but pregnancy with a toddler is definitely a different challenge. No sick days, but you can take afternoon naps (until 2 weeks ago when my DS decided to phase them out so now it's only every second day). And strangely I'm doing LESS walking than I was when I was working, no enforced walk to the train station every day. I'm also thinking less about the baby and more about how the pregnancy and the changes will affect DS.

I'm so glad Eamonn is going well though. Good on you for trying breastfeeding. It's so much harder than people let on. I bf until just shy of 12 months and I had to go to several lactation specialists initially. I think anyone who tries to bf deserves a huge pat on the back - whether it works for them or not.
@shadowangel0205 great news on the NT scan. I hope you're feeling even better now. I didn't realise you had a little one about the same age as mine. I bet yours is very excited to be starting Kinder next year. Have you explained about the new baby? How did you do it/plan to do it?

So im 6 weeks 4 days. Bloods from 6weeks 1 day r back at 6300 odd. This does not necessarily put my mind at ease as they were ok last time too.... sigh. I ovulate bout day 18 so might be right. Was hesitant even to acknowledge it...i hate how scared this has all made me. I'm feeling different from last time, and am finding it hard not to compare. Last time was super tired and feeling seedy right up till the end, sore boobs, implant spotting to boot. This time no implant bleed, just more hungry than anything... If it was t for missing period I wouldn't have really known.

Best time to get a scan? 8 weeks?

    Im just so nervous

@lilyloubelle i went at 8 weeks...its a looonngggg wait but it allows for your bub to be smaller and still have a hb. (This one was 5 days behind at our "dating scan" but we still seen a nice heartbeat.) By 12 weeks we had grown a whole extra week and measured 2 days ahead!

@French Pear yay for 30 weeks!! Its good you can have weekly appointments to ease your mind.

@Cat74 its not easy being preg and already having one.. ds doesn't sleep!! So i usually head to bed with him if tired.. when mums visiting i take full advantage and sleep while she plays with ds!

@Kwazii ds is 4 in mid march. I'm not looking foward to another only a few weeks apart. my poor parents. all 6 grandkids birthdays within 6 weeks!!! Lol he is looking foward to bub. he overheard a few early conversations so we just told him.. he kept asking when bub was coming but I'm slowly hearing it less. he has come to the scans and nicknamed bub pimples. He talks about being able to rock bub to sleep in his arms and feed it a bottle .... he is very posessive of his things atm.. but I'm sure its just a stage.

    15 weeks today

My scan last time was at 9 weeks, just unfortunately was an empty sac that time..... I'm booked in for 8 weeks, mainly cause next weeks time I couldn't do..... Just so scary I think that's just why I'm scared the most

    Yay on 15 weeks shadow

@lillyloubelle - those first few weeks are hard...hang in there. Each of us has our own milestone that we have to pass before we can feel that little bit more confident. Hopefully you'll see a heartbeat this time and that will be yours. Trust me when I say the way you feel means nothing. After 7 first trimesters I can safely say that the only common "symptom" was stress every time I went for an u/s. And the one where I felt nearly no symptoms was the first successful one!

@shadowangel0205 my DS just turned 3 in August. He has to have heard a few of our conversations, but doesn't seem curious as to what it all means. He is also fairly oblivious to the babies that some of our friends have had recently. I guess he's just not maternal. Your DS sounds like a sweetie. Hopefully by the time we break the news our son is that excited about it all. Are you planning a natural birth or a C-section? I'm already booked in for my C-section for March 12. It feels weird to know my baby's birthdate already (if all goes to plan).

Kwazii ds isn't really phased..he has become very possessive though. I'm sure your ds will suprise you

Lily i wasn't. we just be careful. i tell df not to go too far in and don't be rough. has worked so far...

i know if you have cramps or bleeding they say to avoid it... go with your gut if they haven't said anything

Currently laying here with insomnia but bubbas awake too and active! So reassuring now feeling stuff daily

Next gp app is at end of the month... should get my morph scan referral!!!! Eeeeeekkkkk!! And hopefully hospital referral. so excited!! Tthe hospital was being rebuilt when i had ds... so we chose to go to another the same distance away.... but this was my first choice. It looks amazing!! The birthing ensuites have baths!!!! So excited to go and look around and find out my chances of a vbac.

@lilyloubelle, we were told to avoid during the first trimester. Wasn't really high on my list of things to do anyway as I felt pretty ordinary. Pretty sure DH wouldn't have wanted to either. I was the grumpiest person for the first 14+ weeks - not very attractive. Everything annoyed me. It got so bad that I actually moved desks at work to get away from a colleague who was giving me the sh1t5.
