Risks are so low risk... 1 in 14000 for 21 the other 2 are 1 in 20000. Such a relief.

Though I hate when I have to google stuff on scans..m it said basically that visibility was affected by fat.... I mean yes at one point after I was made to empty my bladder it was a little harder... but mostly it was cause bub wasnt in the right position.

I had my scan today. I thought I was 7 weeks but the sac was only measuring 5 weeks 4 days no hb or pole just the sac. Of course I freaked out it was like dejavu. They took bloods and they are at 18000. So now I'm just hoping my dates are wrong. Do those numbers sound right with those dates??? I'm still so nervous. ... now I have to wait for another scan in 2 weeks.

I'm so sorry. Couple of thoughts with this. First, my gestational sacs always measure a few days ahead of the baby, so it could be earlier than 5+4. That would make no yoke sac and no fetal pole completely normal. Your hcg levels are fine. This could be just really early. Can't they scan you next week? Why two weeks?

@melimum so sorry you didn't get the results you wanted hun! I'm with Sally, can you get a scan earlier than 2 weeks? They should be able to see growth within a week. 2 weeks is just such a long time.

Sorry if it's off topic but the sonographer didn't mention the size of my yolk sac? How am I supposed to be able to compare baby to the sac?

I think maybe she would've mentioned if something was out of place? I just need it to be Friday so I can see my obgyn and be reassured and hopefully sneak in a scan.
