I assume one shouldn't do the 5:2 diet while UTD?
I'd assume not as well. I personally wouldn't opt to for calorie restriction either, would just focus on healthy clean eating.

    Thanks @HarvestMoon

Yes that's what I do, lots of veggies (not enough fruits), water, not too much sugar or bad fat... I stay away from diet or light products, I prefer to eat the real deal but smaller portions.
When I do input what I eat in MyFitnessPal though it ends up being around ~1,200 and I don't feel restricted at all.

Hi lovely ladies do you mind if i join?

    My stats are:

    104kg - original weight
    92kg - current weight
    70kg - goal weight

My problem is overeating! And not exercising lol.

This warm weather has really inspired me to once and for all to shake these kgs. I am marrying my soul mate next year and will start TTC as well so i need to get my butt into shape!

    Edited to add:

I try to eat 1800 calories everyday, any less than this and I am a grumpy cow, any more and i don't loose weight! Just gotta stick to it.

    Welcome aboard Tinkbug!!

I've had another great day. Did an hour at the gym ... Legs day :/ I finished with the elliptical machine and when I hopped off I felt like my legs were going to buckle underneath me!!! I feel wonderful now though

    Menu (it's a bit repetitive I'm afraid)

    Breakfast
    Oats, banana, mixed spice

    Lunch
    Egg & spinach sandwich

    Dinner
    Grilled salmon & steamed veg

    Snacks
    Grapes

I'm also on my second small glass of red - I know ... Not good!! But I'm still within my points allowance

Not all the time. Tonight I am - but sometimes we eat the same or similar.

Bad dinner went to my parents and they got Indian take away! But I didn't have any wine, which is an achievement when having dinner with my folks!

Hi girls. Can I join in? I want to lose 4kg. I know it's not much but my jeans are tight and I'm over it! I gradually gained the weight from July to dec last year after having hip surgery and going from being mega fit to doing not much for 3 months. It was a frustrating and difficult time for me. I also became a bit of a comfort eater which I had never been. I eat good foods, just too much of them.

Anyway I've been trying to budge these few kilos all year. I've lost a few and gained a few, hence haven't achieved anything.

I've joined weight watchers for the first time. I've been trying it for about a month. My problem is I do really well for 7 days then fall off the wagon.

Sooo, I've been reading this thread and feeling inspired. Hoping some of your good work can rub off on me.

Today was good, although I didn't get out for my walk as planned.

Breakfast: same as yesterday- boiled egg on wholemeal toast spread with cottage cheese, topped with raw spinach/rocket.

Lunch: Quarter tin baked beans, banana

Dinner: lazy tonight, it was whatever I could find that didn't require any effort, so out of the freezer came some dim sims and a small portion of steamed rice with veg.
Had 2 coffees, a cup of tea and lots of water.
