    Default Road contact paper?

    Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows where I can get road or race track contact paper - it's to cover the top of a play table for the kids. I have googled and am getting nothing - mainly 'contact us' pages, and 1 contact paper store that has nothing close to what I'm after.

    TIA

    I'd like to know too!

I remember trying to source contact some time last year (can't remember why) and it was near impossible to find.

It's not the same but I've seen sticky tape that is patterned like a road. It's prob 5cm wide, grey with white road markers. Can't remember where I got it from though - somewhere on Facebook.

I would have thought it would be really popular??

This is the table atm - the top is peeling and dirty, so I just wanted to contact over it with a similar scene. I have painted the other side chalkboard, but don't like my chances of painting a road scene that will look any good!

I have seen like a lino sort of thing at a hardware shop that looks very similar. Maybe try hardware shops. Would be just as good as contact, maybe even better as more durable.

Thank you. I have had a look at bunnings and masters, but in the craft section, so might ask if they have any lino similar.

Do any crafty people know if I could stick wrapping paper down with wallpaper glue then clear contact over the top? Might be an option. I have found some wallpaper that could be ok, but not really worth $50 for the roll.
