    Default Luteal Phase Defect

Hi all, this might be a bit of an essay.

Has anyone had a pronounced LP defect and managed to combat it with things like Vitex and B6 (enough to get UTD)? Or have you needed specialist help?
My LP has always been on the low side (10 - 11 days), yet I have managed to have two successful pregnancies.
My LP is now only 6 days long, which is definitely not conducive with implantation. You can see my previous cycles in my sig. I chart BBT so my ov and LP are reasonably accurate.
i have started Conceive Well Gold and B Complex (100mg B6 by taking those two) this cycle, as well as continuing with Vitex from last cycle.
Vitex brought my O forward which was great, but hasn't had an effect on LP length yet.
Any advice, stories etc is welcome!

Keep trying the vitex and b6, it worked for me. Don't give up on it after just one cycle, I'd probably give it at least 3 cycles to see if it works for you.

Thanks @preggasaurus, I'm certainly not giving up yet, but I guess I hoped it would fix everything first go
Did you get a strange aftertaste from the B Complex that lasted a few hours?

I too had a very short lp and was taking vitex and a vit b complex. Last month i decided i would take just b6 and b12 along with vitex. The b6 is 240mg and the b12 250mg. I also had one session of acupuncture done and it helped bring o forward b 2 days (i ovulate quiet late in my cycle (cd18) and af generally comes around cd25)...

Im not sure if it was the acupuncture or the stronger vitamins or both... but today i got a bfp!! After 8 months of trying.

I can't remember now, dd2 is 2, so it was about 3 years ago that I took it. I took b6 though, not a b complex.

    Good luck!

Thanks @curlybird, the Vitex moved O from CD20 to CD17, but didn't extend the LP yet. Congrats again, it is giving me hope.
Thats ok Preggasaurus, it may have been the Conceive Well Gold, or just in my head

Have you looked into vitamin c? I found b6 delayed my ovulation but vit c extended my luteal phase by a few days. I'm now 7 weeks pregnant.
