I would love to donate some eggs after I'm done. It's something I have wanted to do long before I was ttc myself. I have also considered being a surrogate. Haha the irony!

Amps hey so sorry to hear was bad news for you. For next cycle. Iam thinking of doing one in perhaps Jan. If I were in Aust then I would have done it sooner.

Ngaiz wow nice looking beta there !! You are utd - officially !
You had mentioned the bulk billing ivf place - do you have any info or anyone's experience with them? I did surf and one thing that put me off was that they don't do a general for epu? I have read stories were some say they felt nothing and others say it was excruciating! But I guess regardless I wldnt want to put my poor niece through that.

Yeah it's the new low cost clinic in Brisbane run at Life Fertility. They use pain relief (didnt specify) and a local. My current clinic only uses Gas, Panadeine, Diazepama and Endone if you wish. Ive had two excruciating and two pain free epu. The clinic is essentially bulk billed with a $500 private hospital day procedure fee. On top you add Icsi if you need and there are a few other costs involved but a full stim is no more than $1000 we worked out. Its not for everyone though as they use a 'one protocol fits all' approach where every patient is given 150iu (no more no less, so low amh is out of the question here). They use a Lucrin shot to minimise OHSS and its a feeeze all cycle. The initial freeze is free (then $300/year) and FET is also free. For very straight forward cases its perfect. I dont think low cost clinics accomodate for donor cycles.

Wow!! Lots has happened, I don't know where the last year has gone. Big congrats Ngaiz and Spidery. So happy for you both! Exciting times ahead!
I'm sorry to hear this cycle was a bfn Ann and Amps. I have everything crossed for the next one. xx
Mia is almost 17 months and is super cheeky but just adorable. She's finally sleeping better which is a relief as I'm back to work 3 days a week. Panda we are the same and won't be trying again. I had no frosties and pretty much have no eggs left. Plus we can't afford to try for a couple years and I'll be 40 in a couple months. Makes me just treasure every little milestone with my girl. I'm still BF'ing in the morning but about to stop. (I think it's time!!! Lol) otherwise Mia's still taking a bottle at night and me too an dreading introducing to sippy cup..
Hope you are all well. So many of you are travelling heaps which is great! We have our first trip booked to fiji in late November. Can't wait!! Take care ladies JJ xxxx

Congratulations Spidery! Hi JJ! Thought I'd share a couple of pics of my monkey. The second one isn't very good, it's just been screenshoted (is that a word?).
