    Default Playing the waiting game....

After two early miscarriages a few months ago this waiting game is driving me crazy!! I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant now and have been spotting for a week and a half and tonight have had some stabby pains in my lower abdomen. Last week my HCG levels were good...

I just wish I knew either way what was going to happen so I could stop spending everyday thinking about if I will miscarry

That must be so hard! I can't imagine what that would feel like. Do you get to have an early scan??

I'll wait to go back to the Dr until at least 7 weeks (so another week and a half or so) I think, unless I go crazy before then and I may ask to get my levels checked again.

I know there's nothing that can be done but I'd love to be able to get excited or move forward.

Yeah that's totally fair enough hey. I feel like that's all pregnancy is about for me yet.....just waiting for one thing or another.

Pregnancy is a lot of waiting!! After three kids I should be better at it. Haha!!

Woke up this am to a pretty significant amount of blood so I'm thinking it's over but I'll just have to wait and see what the day brings.

I totally hear you. Before my mc I thought it either happened or it didn't. I went through almost a month of spotting, combined with scans that were completely normal (just to make me completely confused), before my little angel gave up at 7.5 weeks. The waiting was the worst part, and I had the most awful feeling of foreboding. I shouldn't admit this, but I was so sure something was wrong, I was considering a termination. However, fact is that 50% of first trimester bleeders turn out fine, so you can't assume the worst. Hope you're ok.
