I wasn't a fan of the descent scary but just lost it. But that's me personally.
I did forget to mention the ending to mama was terrible!
    1408 is a great movie.

    Trying to think of more!

Number 23 (bit of a movie to mess with your mind rather than scary)

    Vacancy (Good but not great)

The woman in black (good but great)

Hide and seek (I looooove this one lol)

    The uninvited (creeped me out!)

Some of these are more thrillers but still good

    Also orphan is good

The omen - oldie but goodie

There are only three movies that I would actually rate as really unnerving...and I've seen many. It takes a hell of a lot to scare me.

    1) The Exorcist, original 1979 version.

    2) The Changeling- again, not the recent movie of the same name, I'm talking about The Changeling that I think was also made in the late 70's. I don't even think the new one is about the same thing, judging by the previews, but they share the same name.

    3) Room 401.
This movie is excellent, so different, so damn unnerving, I had tears. It's great

ETA: found it- The Changeling, 1980. Based on a true story..
