It's second mothers day in my house ... baked relaxed and had friend over for coffee and cake while kids had a play date

I do both jobs so I get both days !

It wasn't as awful as expected. Went to the markets, movies and did a few things that are tricky to do when little ones are around. Thanks off asking! Hoping you had a good day too Harvs

Big hugs. I'm in a similar boat. DDs dad sees her every 5 weeks but doesn't do any additional 'fathering'. At 3, she already tells me that her daddy doesn't love her and she doesn't love him. I called the Ex for DD to wish him happy Father's Day. When he answered, she wouldn't talk and when I asked if she was going to talk to daddy, she said "no, I don't want to talk to daddy".
His problem. DD and I had a great day in the garden together.

I'm lucky enough that my dad is great and DD loves her Poppa, she made him a gift at kindy and helped me bake him a cake. Also, my brother came around on Saturday evening for a catch up. So that's two positive men in her life.

In my opinion, I'm both mum and dad, so I also get both days to celebrate me My dad and brother can share Father's Day with me for being great to dd.
