Was just at the docs today and mentioned it to her, and she thinks it's more likely ovulation, though she has given me a referral for a scan for pcos anyway. She said if it was a cyst, it would hurt other times too, not just while DTD, but I thought the same as you at first.
It is ovulation, because then we timed it right.

@MadSci I get cysts in my ovaries nearly every month (they burst at around 5cm for me) & I don't get any pain. They are follicles that don't hatch.

CD 19 here. The last week and a half is always the hardest to wait for. I don't have my hopes up this time around though.
    How is everyone going?

@EnPointe is it a two decimal place thermometer?
Have you registered for Fertility Friend (or something similar) to help you track your temps, CM etc?
if you wake up at roughly the same time every morning after a minimum of 3 hours uninterrupted sleep, the temp charting will work best.
As soon as you wake up, before you speak, get out of bed or even move too much, take your temp, either orally or vaginally. Vaginally is more accurate as you could sleep with your mouth open etc, which can effect the temps, but I take mine orally and it works fine. My chart is in my sig.
Temping is useful to see when you ovulated, after the fact, though if you have regular cycles you will soon see exactly which day you usually
    O. My O is all over the place, but it lets me know that I did in fact O.
    Good luck.

    um... take your temperature lol

seriously, though, use it first thing in the morning before speaking or getting out of bed to get the most accurate results. record your temperature daily to see a pattern.
