Default Plus sized formal dress- STAT!

In need of a plus sized (20) formal dress for my sisters wedding in 3 weeks!!! The one I have is apparently not formal enough. Happy to go to a shop or order online so long as it delivers in time. HELP!

I had a function a few months back and realised it was the first formal party i had been to since DD was born ! ( sad I know )... I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything I liked, also I had no idea about formal wear fashions in 2014, what the current trends are etc! I ended up getting something lovely on eBay of all places, I think I just ran a search for "plus size party dress" or something like that, I ended up finding a lovely simple black a-line dress to the knee, and blinged it up with some colourful shoes and a wrap. Good luck!

Have you looked in Noni B? They usually have some nice formal dresses (not just for old ladies)

Iconic online have some nice dresses in their 'curvy' range. Very quick postage too.

Thanks ladies. Birdsnest didn't have much formal wear but good to know about other stuff.

Will try iconic - never heard of it

City chic had a couple, just wanted to see if there were others that weren't too black
