@woof5105 - it's the Mum factor. You'll still be nervous when they're 50!
woof5105 omg I am exactly the same I am very anxious today... Also because my first levels were low I am anxious and have next bt on Thursday morning.. When is your bt?? I am away on Perth at the moment so being away from home is making me anxious also....
Mine is thurs morning as well! Yay! We can be anxious together!
Just an update from me, I had my follow up BT this morning and was hoping for around 1800 (if it had doubled exactly since last BT) and the result came in at 2312.
Just so, so grateful to have had the support of Bubhubbers, it was definitely tough cycling again right after the loss last month but seems to be paying off so far.
Huge luck and baby dust to everyone in their current and future cycles - and for what it's worth I still feel no symptoms so don't let the symptom spotting get you down.
Awesome news @ScubaGal
Afm i had my day 3 update from the clinic yesterday all 9 embies are stil growing nicely, at 8,9 and 10 cells - i cant believe they havent started to die off yet, feeling very lucky at this point. Due for transfer tomoro then the nervous tww
@Grace1 I don't think it is standard - but it can be done for a variety of reasons.
Last cycle I had a repeat to check progesterone when my HCG was 95 and progesterone 41. That's how we found out it wasn't doubling.
This cycle my early bloods at 9dp5dt showed HCG 297 and progesterone 121 (which is huge) but we still did a repeat because of the loss last month so it was mostly for peace of mind and so that my FS could try to convince me to stop taking the pessaries.
So a repeat can be done for a range of reasons - hope that helps
Our clinic said they nearly always do a repeat as they do the first BTs quite early on.
Am feeling good about my numbers today (yesterday was crazy anxious). Woke up terribly nauseous this morning and it seems that it doesn't want to subside ... I am taking it as a good thing.
