So sorry for your loss. We had 3 losses before our DS was born. The first was at 9 weeks and they found out afterwards my rubella immunization was low, so we waited three months. The second was at 12 weeks and I fell pregnant the cycle after the D&c but lost bubba at 6 weeks. I then fell pregnant again the next cycle and it was with DS. Should probably add that my cycles were very irregular - between 50-78 days.

I think a big part of it is being emotionally ready. Good luck

    So sorry for you loss
A few years ago when I m/c my OB said it was fine to try straight away again. I didn't have a period between 2 miscarriages and falling pregnant. Our DD is now 5.5
My close friend has unfortunately just had a miss m/c and her OB said to wait 1 cycle before trying again. Said the lining of the uterus can be thin after a m/c and waiting a whole cycle can make it thicker.

I was told by my midwife that there was no reason to wait physically. I had 3 losses between dd and ds2 and conceived ds2 after taking a fews months break. Best of luck op

The OB told me that although there wasn't any real reasoning behind it they tell us to wait three months. He did say to make sure that mentally you are well before trying again.

I didn't wait. We lost our baby end Jan and conceived in Feb after my first proper period and our first cycle trying. I'm currently 31 weeks.

A couple of weeks ago was the due date for the baby we lost. It's hard because I am obviously happy about this bub but still sad about our little baby we lost.

    Big big hugs.

Thanks for all the info guys!
last I heard from the doc, she said there would be no reason to wait.. and we can start trying straight away.
I have an ultra sound on Tuesday just to make sure its all clear.
Fingers crossed... nothing like being pregnant that makes you want to BE pregnant.

Big hugs. We lost our babies in July, it took about 5 weeks to get my period and hoping to fall pregnant ASAP. My obs said we could start trying straight away too.

I also felt the strongest desire to be pregnant after our MC. I think part of it was desire to heal, and also partly hormonal. I crashed at about 3 weeks after the MC, I was a mess for a week, crying at the drop of a hat etc, almost similar to the baby blues after DS was born. I'm feeling more like myself now and definitely ready for baby no 2. Hope you are doing ok too x
