Default How do you KNOW it's just a sleep regression?

My baby is 8 months and around 2 weeks. He has been a GREAT SLEEPER for quite a while. Put to sleep day and night awake and just settled himself. In the last two weeks he cries when I leave the room, tries to sleep but can't stop wriggling and gets extremely frustrated! I'm so worried he just has to re learn help me please experienced mummies!!!!

Hmmmm, I don't think you ever know, but has anything changed in his sleep during the day? Maybe he just isn't tired enough to sleep, so gets frustrated when you put him down?

How much sleep does he get? Is he waking lots more at night or is he just harder to get to sleep in the first place?
