Default Extreme fatigue during second trimester?

Anyone else experience fatigue into their second trimester? I'm 18 weeks and the last two weeks just feel wrecked by after lunchtime. With my first I felt fantastic and full of beans from weeks 11-36 and this time I have to nap daily after lunch to get by. Only had an iron infusion in May so id be surprised if it's because of that. I have a 9 month old who I'm still breastfeeding 2-4 times a day.

Help! Need some energy from somewhere!

Completely there with you. My 1 yr old has been sick and up all hours of the night and barely sleeping but I'm just absolutely wrecked and I don't like it.
I need to be alert for him and getting to bed earlier hasn't been helping. I'm 19 weeks and I can't get worse, I'm passing out while he's playing which is not safe at all. Also sleeping while he sleeps doesn't work as he only sleeps for half an hour stretches so I wake up feeling worse and absolutely nothing gets done

Hugs- I know the feeling. It is possible that bub has used up all your iron since may op.

I have low bp and low iron this time around- I know the feeling of complete exhaustion and light headed ness.

Please get your dr to check your iron, thyroid gland, and vitamin b12. Any or all of these might be low.

Also you may need to eat more! Simple but true. And drink plenty of water.

But definitely talk to your Dr or midwife and get some blood tests- being THAT tired is not normal even though you are pregnant. (I have a 4 and 6 year old).

    Good luck xx

Yes I have felt like this the last few days. The other morning I was at the shops and I had to come home because I felt like I needed to lie down.

I felt like this too at around that time. I perked up and now I'm nearly 27 weeks and my fatigue is back.
Go with it if you can and have as much rest as you can.

Hey everyone! I'm also so so so so tired since starting the second tri and I'm still sick but not as bad. I started to take iron but to be honest I'm still bugged. I was having dreams about myself being so tired that's how tried I am. apparently with my last urine test they said that there was a chemical in there that told them I was burning though energy too fast.....I'm so tired yawn and it doesn't help that I keep getting the flu and that and now I have a sinus infection.
