DH is going out to lunch with his older son - last time SS will have his dad all to himself. I thought I would get him a nice card and write it from the perspective of new bubba who, all going well, will be joining our little family next Tuesday.

We have agreed not to give presents on mother/Father's Day.
We do breakfast in bed and an activity the other wants to do.
We are going to a family beach house with some friends for the Saturday night. DH gets to drive and old classic car he owns, there.
I also organised a picture mouse mat for DH work desk. He has one of him and ds1 from his second Father's Day. Needed an update to include ds2.

My family never did father's day or mother's day so I'm brand new to this. I want to get dh a personalised phone cover with a photo of him and Dd. I'll have to order it today to get it in time but I'm not sure if I should put text under the photo. If I do, any suggestions on what it should say?

We are going to my parents for the weekend. My Dad's best mate/3rd daughter/dog died last week so DH and I are doing a DVD full of photos and videos of her for him plus I got him a ford beer stein and bottle opener because he loves fords. My oldest 2 are buying things from the Father's Day stall they have at school every year all items are between $2 and $15 so I give them $20 each and they always get DH a few little things. DH has said many times he wants a new wallet so I am getting him a good leather one from me and ds2. I remember when DD was 3 weeks old it was DH's first Father's Day and I got a photo of him and her from the day she was born put on a coffee cup for him and took him out to brunch, it was also the day he proposed so he likes to tell people he got a cup and a fiancé for Father's Day

I am getting DF a digital radio for his man shed, the boys are making him stuff at school/kinder, and getting him something from the fathers day stall at school. He wants to spend the day at home with us just fluffing about (we've had a very busy couple of months), and he wants to have a BBQ for dinner.
We won't be seeing either of our own fathers for fathers day. His Dad is away, and honestly even thinking about calling my Dad is more effort than he deserves.

I broke DH's multi-function cooker so I am buying a replacement. I'll also get him some slippers and DD will make a card.

As for the day, I'll probably make him breakfast (if we have time before DDs swimming lesson) and maybe a picnic.

I've just decided to get my DH and stand up paddleboard.

So we will have a picnic and spend the morning or afternoon down at the creek/beach with it. He has wanted one for ages and now DD is a bit older she can put on a life vest and sit on the front and go for a paddle with him.

Perfect father and daughter activity leaving me lots of time for me to relax on the beach

Want to do something really special as he has had a really crappy few weeks. Going to get the girls to make something for him, dd1 is buying him something at her schools fathers day stall today, and im planning on making a photo collage he can put in his bedroom at his share house, and a tattoo voucher.

On sunday we might pack up the car and go fishing somewhere, or go for a picnic and just be together as a family.

    He + Me = dd1 (July 2007), dd2 (July 2010), dd3 (August 2012), dd4 (May 2014)

Ds has made a painting and keyring at daycare. I have bought a book on loving daddy that has a photo spot for them in it. Dp has also picked out a book on muscle cars he wanted. I am cooking a roast for dinner at dps request and we will probably go out somewhere the 3 of us. It is his first fathers day too
