At work - but I'm currently on maternity leave waiting for my baby to come so I guess it's cooking and cleaning at the moment lol.
I'll let you know when I find it!

In what I give, not what I have. This could be giving charities money, time, advice, goods or just being there for people and animals in need and of course my family. I get a lot more self worth and self satisfaction from a heartfelt smile and sincere thank-you from a person or a slobbery kiss from a dog/horse/cat/cow/sheep/goat/pig/bird than I do looking at material objects or a show home like house.
I'm thinking how much others value, treat and respect you.
At work. I get it at home too but feel it more at work.
From within myself, I'm very self sufficient and capable. I don't really judge myself by the standards of others (I'm also pretty anti social so make what you will of that ). I won't let people disrespect me, no matter what (to quote dr phil via vic park, people treat you how you allow them too).
For me, it was mainly from work. So not being at work any more and about to have a baby, I feel like I'm finding my feet a bit. I think now it's more from contributing to existing friendships and cultivating new ones. I feel very blessed to have met some wonderful mums and mums-to-be in the last few months and am really looking forward to bubba coming and raising a little person.
self worth has to come from you. it is your opinion of you. not someone elses opinion of you. it comes from how you allow others to treat you. how you expect others to treat you. I don't accept bad language around me. My adult children and my husband will apologise if words slip out and im near. I will graciously accept a seat on the bus if it is offered to me, or if some one holds a door open for me. I will also do these things for others. this is reminding me of an old 'skyhooks' song 'ego, is not a dirty word". your self worth is reflected in how you dress, how you walk and talk. also by the people you hang around with. This could be a topic I might have too much to share. hugs, Marie.
