Default slow rising hcg levels but heartbeat detected?

Hi, this is my first time posting on any forum like this.... This is my 9th pregnancy and I have 2 children 6 and 2 years... This is my 4th pregnancy since January 2014 and according to my dates I am 6 w 3 d today. I have had my hcg monitored and it was doing well 4w was 92, 5 w 1900 then 2 days later only 2200 then 2 days later 4600 then 4 days later only 7800. I went for a transnational ultrasound at obgyn yesterday that detected a heartbeat. I am not sure on heart rate but he said everything looked good. I am wondering what others experiences have been.... In my previous 2 successful pregnancies my hcg always sky rocketed and I ended up having amniocentesis because the blood levels used in the 12 week testing placed my babies in the very high risk for trisomy 21 category ( both were clear when tested).
I'm really not sure what to think.... any similar experiences would be great

At 5+6 my count was 60000, but for that stage the range is pretty huge. From 5000-50000 from memory, but my count was very high right from the beginning. You are increasing in the 48-72 hours bracket. You would be around 72 hours which is still considered normal. I would be getting more bloods though if i were you as the count is quite low.

No experience of that here Op. Just wanted to offer some best wishes and good luck to you for a healthy bub.
This time is such a waiting game - the first 12 weeks. And not necessarily the best waiting game.
The positive is you have a heartbeat and the hcg levels are rising.
All the very best to you Op

My levels always tend towards the low side. With my last pregnancy I had levels done at 3+6 (57), 4+6 (1664), 5+6 (9100) and 6+6 (23500). We also saw a heartbeat at 6 and 8 weeks on ultrasound. She's now 9 months old and sleeping on my lap. So low levels don't always mean anything is wrong. And doubling times slow once they reach a certain level. Good luck!

I was always thought that as the levels got higher the rise time was longer.
    I found this online
Below 1,200 mIU/ml, hCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours
Between 1,200 and 6,000 mIU/ml serum, the hCG usually takes 72-96 hours to double
So if this is the case then you wouldn't be doubling every two days. I would go by your scan
