    on the pill for about 4 years, then conceived on the second cycle. back on the pill for 3 months, conceived twins first cycle. back on the pill for about 2 years and conceived after about 4 cycles. marie.

    I was on the pill for 10 yrs. Stopped it. Got pregnant within 4 weeks.

    Just stopped the pill again ready to go for round 2

    If there is one thing I've found from talking to friends, family, doctors, midwives and alternative health practitioners it is that everyone's cycle is very different after the pill, and you cannot predict what journey you are in for. I wish I had been a little more prepared!! But it seems to be quite typical to take a number of months to reach a normal cycle, and then to conceive. I've spent so many years worrying about taking one pill late that it never occurred to me you might not ovulate regularly if you stop completely!!
