Default Has anybody used Carpet Call for laminate?

We are in the process of getting quotes for laminate and have them coming out tomorrow to do a quote. After reading heaps of terrible reviews online I'm thinking of canceling, however, most of the bad reviews were due to pushy salesmen and bad tradies. I can deal with pushy and we would be installing ourselves. I would love to know if anyone has bought their laminate and how it looks and how it's holding up.

We had it. It was ok. The edging got worn looking in the 3 years we had it.

They did our laminate, all good.
The problem with reviews is that most people post their bad experiences but generally don't go out of their way to post good ones. Go ahead with the quote and make your mind up based on your experience.

I'm not sure and we sold the house, so I don't have any of the receipts.

OK...thanks. I was thinking that about the reviews. I'm kind of leery because a lot said they are super pushy. I wanted them to come out during the day but they were quite insistent on coming after 5. Makes me think they want a time when they think DH will be home so we can sign on the dotted line. Too bad he doesn't care and I'll be the one making the decisions anyway.

I cancelled. They screamed dodgy to me. I ended up finding a really good price on the Quick step brand

What turned me off originally is I rang them to see if they had the Quick step range and how much. They said yes and it's on sale for $19.95. I was surprised as I'd had quotes from $46-65. I had DH drop in to see and they said that it's not actually Quick step, its Ezy Step and it's the from the same manufacturers as Quick step but just re branded. I actually emailed the manufacturer in Germany and asked if it was true and they said absolutely not and are now doing an investigation. So, long story short, they are dodgy as and I would advise anyone to stay away
