Hey girls, had a big sleep and feel like a different person today, still a little sore but otherwise massively better. Yesterday sucked, I felt rough!

So I'll only get a phonecall today if it's bad news and none fertilize. So I am really anxious about the phone today!! No news will be good news. Then my nurse will call me tomorrow and let me know how many fertilized. Then I'll have a 3 day transfer on Tues.

Bad news - just got the call - none fertilized. Quality was pretty compromised according to the lab.

WHAT!!!! I can't believe that. I am so gutted for you. I really thought you were in for a good shot this time. Do they think it was because of the length of the stim? The good news is that Lynn would have got a lot of answers from that cycle and the next one should be much more positive.

I'm wondering about the length of the stim sparrow - definitely worried me at the time. I'm surprised too.. Thought id get one at least.

Aw hon, I'm so sorry - that is such an awful feeling. After everything you went though to get to EPU, it just sucks. Have a big glass of wine (or 4) and settle in for a fun festive season before you try again. Big hug to you xxx

Thanks Vix, gutted. But I'll bounce back. Have to wait and see what Lynn says and I'll need some time but I'll have to think long and hard about trying again I think. I think it might to be too hard at this age with my low reserves.

@Kelly70: Oh FFS's Luv!!! I'm so very sorry to hear this😦 So frigging unfair!! Will be interesting to hear what LB thinks but I remember Wazza telling me (after I told him I was worried about taking such a high dose of stimm's in Cycle 4) that it's harder than you think to "burn eggs out" i.e compromise their quality not it's any consolation. I'm with @Vixjc...get a few into you Luv @ worry about the rest tomorrowxoxo

Thanks blonde.. Yeah that's good to hear although I was worried more about length of time that the eggs were exposed to stims - about a month - rather than dose as my dose wasn't massive. But in reality was prob more age related quality. 4 cycles in a row too, ovaries prob need a break.

I'm happy on one hand that numbers were better but that means nothing if quality is sh1t.

Gutted for you @Kelly70 - it's bad on a normal cycle but you've been in this for so long that I'm imagining you feel like you've been kicked while you are done.

Words aren't much consolation but try and hold on until you can get Lynn's feedback - sounds to me like she will be pretty straight good or bad news.

    xo
