Thanks lovelies - glad to know I'm thinking straight.
@littlesparrow74 that's fascinating - very Hollywood - I can see the trailer now "They had a baby together. Then they met."
That's my trigger but I didn't get a booster - MIVF only does 5000 - I had to ask for 10000 - sounds like you really are onto the right FS and clinic!
If you can get your hands on a 'snap it' I highly recommend it. It is a wonderful little contraption that snaps the top off the Pregnyl vials. $10 well spent!!!
Remember you mentioning that sparrow - where did you purchase it?
My clinic sell them, I'm not sure if chemists stock them. Might be worth googling or ask your clinic.
Oh boy. Funny how you think you are feeling pretty okay and then burst into tears when the slightest thing goes wrong and realise you are hormonal as all hell. I'm trying to tee family members up for EPU (without knowing when it will be of course but guessing fri, sat or sun). Anyone care to predict based on my numbers..? Mum can take me if it's fri or sat but not Sunday. Just called my dad to see if they could do Sunday and my dad's partner (whom I'm close to) was awkward and said she'd have to check with him as they had a trip away planned with friends and it was just painful. She was saying maybe let's not tell your dad until your scan tomorrow when you know more and then we don't risk him being grumpy about changing plans and there was talk about not knowing what to tell their friends (as they've clearly kept my plans secret from their friends) and it all got too hard and then I burst into tears and had to get off the phone. I know she'll be upset now too. So hard doing this alone sometimes but I think it's just a bad day!
Oh yeah - I used to be the same! I think it's partly hormones and partly a natural response to the pressure and tension that you feel when hiking the Everest of fertility.
I'm free Sunday - I know it's not the same as family or a partner, but I'm pretty familiar with the Monash clinics and am happy to play chauffeur if it would help out. I've had some amazing women support me over the last few years and it'd be great to pay it forward somehow so PM me if I can help at all 😊
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
