Haha UTD Club, love it!
Hi guys- Kelly need heaps of water on these meds I know I'm not a water drinker and I always had a sports bottle with me just sipping it all day. I hope you are feeling better today. Hi Jem and everyone else ive been up with the boonies this morning !
Cheers Jem70 x
Hope your body is prepping for the golden egg! I was once svelte and well groomed but now I'm afraid I'm a little more in need of a serious makeover. Ivf drugs =Bloated and feeling tired and frumpy. Better bloodywell be worth it!!
@Biscotti71 - you and me both!! I'm a little bit in despair at the creeping numbers on the scale and the toll it takes physically. I supposedly look young for my age but I swear this **** is aging! Twill absolutely be worth it if there's a cherub in arms down the track. But I hear you x
Lovely ladies - this is why it will be almost impossible to educate 20 somethings on freezing eggs - I will admit it - I am age-induced desperado which is the only reason I decided I could live with doing this. Why else would I have injected myself 6 times this week for no other reason than to stop a hormone called LH leaking into my old ovaries and attacking the quality of my eggs!
hmmm - 6 months ago I didn't even know what LH was!
And let's not start on the unpleasantly intrusive scans
You've got to have a laugh at it to get through I think.
Speaking of the fatigue - I just laid down on the couch for a few mins, cue a 2 hour nap!!! Just woke up. Jeepers hope I sleep tonight now.
To top this weekend off, I put my hand in a sink of dishes this morning and sliced the top of one of my fingers open on the blade from my new food processor. Blood that would not stop for 30 mins or so, running down my arm, was worried I may have needed a stitch but managed to stem it. Guess I'll only do that once, was already petrified of the processor!!
So jealous if your nap Kel. I have been exhausted all weekend. I didn't get out of bed until 9:30 this morning and really wanted a nap this afternoon but it was too late when I got home.
I hope the finger is on the mend, the thought of that made my tummy flip flop. Be prepared for it to open up if it gets wet over the next day or two.
I hope you enjoyed your outing with Angie in the pram @Helsbaby
