Thanks Blonde, good knowing we still have our wee stalker following along and checking in

Hels - I have my scratch being done this Thursday (@littlesparrow - did you feel anything when you had yours done?) - Lynn is doing it too - I've heard she does all her procedures in her heels which sounds a bit fabulous to me! Then AF due about oct 5 after so will start injections then.

I'll have an apt next week with my nurse and I think I could even pick up my meds then if I like - i know lynn has drawn up my plan already and it will be Elonva (which from what I've read is actually one injection only and a slow release type thing, over 7 days) and Menopur injections at night I think plus human growth hormone).

Feeling really flat tonight - just back from a big BBQ with my core group of friends and the gazillion babies and small children they have all produced which is fine but just sometimes really feel the pinch in terms of being one of the only single and childless ppl in our group. And all the conversations you have to manage like one I had to exit side left today, between two girls who are around age 36, 37 and talking about having baby number 2 (both have young first babies under 1 year) and saying how age related factors mean they need to get on with baby no 2 ASAP. I mean they don't know I'm trying but that was just one of the more painful baby related convos I had to deal with today.

Hi Kel, the scratch was very similar to an ET with a few seconds of uncomfortable cramping, nothing major at all. Good luck.

Thinking of you @Kelly70 - I think those social experiences ended up turning me into a bit of a hermit - it just all got a bit too much so I understand how you feel.

Looks like we are going to end up pretty close in our cycles!

I think we've all got a bit of weariness but I honestly believe you are in such a better place with Lynn!

Happy week eek to everyone and good luck with your scan today @littlesparrow74
Grow vibes to the third little follie for you @Biscotti71

And thanks to all our fab in progress and new mamas who are cheering us on!

@Jem70 - yeah I was tossing up whether to go at all as I was having quite a lovely weekend until then but then you start to worry about disconnecting from your friends. But I think I'm going to take the rest of my ivf time out away from those kinds of events and not go back to them until I feel ready and/or my ivf journey is over. I'm also going to avoid social gatherings that involve alcohol as I can't be trusted at the moment to stay away from the wine as a bit of a crutch and I need to stay healthy at the moment.

Not in the best headspace the past few days, ivf fatigue as you say Jem. I know you girls all get it.

Hugs to everyone else and massive luck as we all head into these next cycles xx

I definitely know how you feel @Kelly70 I rely on the wine far too much to help with the pain of 'failure'. I must say yesterday was the first time in a long time I woke up after the AFL grand final feeling refreshed.
Scan went well this morning 6 or 7 decent sized follicles. EPU booked for Friday and I just consented to put 2 back in next Monday eeeeekkkkk.
