    Default Paid parental leave Q

Hi all! I'm a newbie! I've got a q re paid parental leave if anyone can help. I returned to work 2 weeks ago and have only just realised I was supposed to notify centrelink of this ASAP. Because I started back suddenly and earlier than planned, I completely forgot to tell them until a payment came through on the weekend. I'm ringing them today of course but wondered if anyone else has been in this situation and what happens? Will I need to pay it back straight away or will it be balanced at the end of financial year?

They sent me a bill to pay it back with a due date of in a months time, otherwise a percentage will come out of my family tax each fortnight!
