Default How much does your newborn drink?

I have been told I am over feeding my two week old but she is hungry so often!
Just wondering how much formula others are giving their bub ?
    - how much,
    - how often,
    - bubs age and
    - bubs weight).

    Thanks

The general rule is 150 ml / kg / day, so a 4kg 2 week old would be needing approximately 600 ml over the course of a 24 hour period, so that would be 75ml per feed if on a 3 hourly schedule or 100ml per feed if on a 4 hourly schedule.

How much does your DD weigh and how much is she taking?

This. I always have DS as much or as little as he wanted. Some days he would drink a lot more than others.

DF asked the Dr what to do if they drink too much and the Dr said 'feed them what they want. They are too small to restrict their food intake'.

Is bub doing long stretches overnight? She could be filling up during the day for overnight.

my 11 week dd is still feeding 2hrly during the day but she takes 90ml per feed, has a dream feed and only wakes once per night.

I think just feed on demand is easier like you're doing
