Thinking of you. It must be so hard being apart from your hubby at this time.
Not financial, its through public system. Was his actual dr who left the message. And thank you xo

Oh bugger. Did they tell him the op is definitely cancelled for tomorrow? If the message was somewhat ambiguous I would get him to ring the hospital around 7am to clarify that his op has definitely been cancelled. I'm sure in his admission pack there would be a phone number for the admission clinic/day surgery etc where he could ring and clarify. I would hate for there to be some kind of mix up and for the op still to be booked to go ahead and your DH not turning up. But I just hate not knowing everything that's going to happen. Perhaps see if your DH can have you on speakerphone during the appt (if he'll be happy with that).

I told him to go in at 7.30 like he was originally told just to be safe. All the message said was to come in at 10 for a meeting as there was something they need to discuss. That's all it said. I think he should go in earlier anyway just to be safe and he agreed. Will ask about the speaker phone again.

Eta- he voluntarily offered to have me on speaker phone if he has this meeting today, and he is going to ask about making an appointment with the dr for when the kids and I go up so I can have a chat and ask any questions.

He just sent me a text
"Will call you soon. Just trying to get my head around"

Not sure what it means but hopefully it means he had the surgery and is waking up properly??

Still have no idea what's going on but he has sent me a message saying he will call me soon and its good but surprising news. Hoping he tells me its all been a big mistake and they got it wrong. He obviously didnt have the surgery either.

    What a rollercoaster.
