Well tomorrow is surgery. My best friend did some research and has put my mind at ease a lot- the surgery he is having can only be performed in a very small number of patients and the fact they believe they will be able to do it on him further confirms it was caught very early. Which is excellent. At this stage they dont think he will need any follow up treatmenr other than regular checks which is also great.

For those interested, he is having the last type:
    Attachment 60776

He has also spoken to his boss and housemates about it which im proud of him for doing, I know how much he didnt want to. He didnt go into detail, just told them he is having this surgery and needs some recovery time.

It is, but as mum pointed out it it would be harder for him if I was there, its just how he is. At least its a relatively minor surgery compared to the other options.

Thank you lovely ladies. Once again I cant express how much the support means to me xo
@anewme, a friend is taking me out for coffee in the morning and another friend is coming over after she finishes work at lunch time to keep me company (and occupied lol).

Far out. Dh got a voice mail on his phone from the dr saying he needs to go in at 10am tomorrow because there is something they need to discuss. He was supposed to be in there at 7.30 to be prepped etc for surgery so now he hasn't got a clue what's going on

How bloody frustrating for you both. It's probably a mix up something financial etc... Is your hubby sure the person who passed on the message knew what they were on about?

Thinking of you. It must be so hard being apart from your hubby at this time.
