I hope DH had good news for you today lilmiss. Enjoy your weekend - try and spend it with the family instead of running around madly doing housework.

Not yet. Have had a full on (but very lovely) day. Dh decided to take us all to Launch Zone (trampoline place, absolutely fantastic) and then went for icecream afterwards and have spent the arv watching movies with him and the kids. Its the first time I can remember him doing something like that- the extent of our rare family outings is the park up the road and its usually me dragging him. We had a wonderful day, he spent the whole time with the kids, was beautiful to watch. Especially dd3 who has all of a sudden become his shadow- constantly asking where he is when he is away and does not leave his side when he is home. And tomorrow he has told me that sil, dd1, dd2 and I have tickets to an advance screening of the new Planes movie and he wants to spend time with dd3 and dd3. This is something completely new, he has never volunteered to look after the little ones before (especially dd4 being so little). After the movies he is taking the older kids to the water park here.

Anyway, with all that happening and kids obviously being around we haven't had a chance to talk. Going to finish watching Enchanted with dd1 and then we are going to talk.

    He + Me = dd1 (July 2007), dd2 (July 2010), dd3 (August 2012), dd4 (May 2014)

I've been thinking of you @lil miss. Hope the talk went ok. How lovely he's wanting to spend so much time with the family. Sometimes it takes a shock like this for people to really see what's around them. Hope everything is as good as you hoped x
