My DH literally just got insured yesterday. He know has life insurance & permanent disability insurance. Not sure who with - he just went on iselect. I'm not 100% sure if that's the same as income protection insurance but it's all we really need for peace of mind.

My DH has it. And used it after being made redundant. I don't know who he is with but I'll check and get back to you I think it's something he added to his super insurance.

We have it, and wouldn't be without it. We just recently changed from paying it out of our own pockets (as DH was self employed) to paying it via our super, which has proven to be so much cheaper. The only glitch we have experienced is that DH has one exclusion for 12 months because of what would be considered a pre-existing injury, so we will run both policies concurrent so that we could claim on the old one if his pre existing issue plays up. Gives us lots of piece of mind if something was to happen to one if us.

We both have it through our mortgage provider. Life TPD and income protection.
Involved blood, urine tests and a medical (dr and nurse came to our house at a time that suited us).
I figured we insure house, car, health and pets, why not insure what's paying for all those!
