    Default Hip pain?

    I am 20 weeks pregnant and I am experiencing hip pain!
    It's so bad sometimes I can't even walk. My right leg becomes so weak that I can't put any weight on it.
    Anyone else?
    Any tips on making it better?

    Definitely try to see a physio at the hospital! The physio made a world of difference for me.
    Other than that, I became hyper aware of how I stood and made sure I took a little more weight on the opposite hip.

    Support bands are great if you can get your hands on them.

    Thank you for that! I will see if my midwife can organize one for me. Not sure what support bands are but I will find out!

    Yep! Since 16 weeks. Into week 30 now.
    Ive found being mindful of how i move has helped. For example not twisting my hips, keeping knees together when getting up or out of bed, sitting up straight not slouching etc.

    Definitely get a referral from the MW to the physio at the hospital - I've had bad back and hip pain as my pelvis is unstable. A tubigrip and a support belt will help, hopefully the hospy can fit you with something. My hospital also does pregnancy physio classes to help with pain. Worth seeing if yours does something similar.

    I'm 33 weeks and have had that exact experience for a few weeks now with pain every time I take a step. I've found that panadol helps and plenty of rest.
