Pasta bake? (Costs about $5 to make, usually about 2.5 meals for us)

Speghetti bolognaise? Jar of sauce for $2, pasta for 70c, $5 for 500g premium mince from coles, add some garlic bread as well for $2-$3.

Curried sausages usually dont cost that much and add some mash potato and veg?

Check out the coles website, they have some meals for under $10 suggestions?

Soup is cheap. Shop at the end of the day and check for mark downs in the meat section.

Definitely! We do it for less than that every week

Mince, pasta or rice based dishes are great. Make sure you go through your freezer and pantry to see what you already have to work with.

    Some cheap meals:
    Spaghetti bolognese
    Tacos
Savoury mince with mashed potato and steamed veggies
    Apricot chicken drumsticks and rice
    Chicken or pork fried rice
Casserole or soup if you have lots of veggies to get rid of
Spinach & bacon quiche with salad
    Seasoned drumsticks and veg, roasted
    Meatloaf

We are not that fussy so any ideas I will consider

    Although...Dp hates spag bog
& I've made deviled sausages a ton of times one of dp's favs but I was recently turned off them because I found a massive vein in one of the sausages from woolies lol! (I'll get over it soon)...

So far I'm going to make
    BLTs
    Zucchini slice
The leggo jar sun dried tom Pasta bake

    4 more meals mmmmm...

    Fried rice
    Chicken breast burgers
    Cottage pie
    Soup
Dominos pizza (value range large pizzas are only $4.95 each)
Spaghetti with tomato based vege sauce
    Pesto pasta
    Sausages on bread rolls
    Stir fry

Agree with peanutmonkey about pasta bake - very cheap to make.
