    Pgd results are FINALLY back, and out of the 4tested 3 are normal, I couldn't believe it, I honestly thought it would be two max and I was silently thinking nothing was normal.
    So it also confirms its not our embryos but my uterus/body that is the issue.
    Part of me hasn't wanted to face the fact that it was me but the results are in and I'm over the moon but at the same time abit sad that it is actually my body attacking the embryos or not letting them implant properly.
    Appnt with fs and also immune dr next week to work out a protocol, thinking I'll do steroids, intralipids clexane and progesterone and if that doesn't work move on to the big immune stuff.
    Ur appnt is soon isn't it @Bongley?
    How are u feeling @Rarah11. @KayzB hope bubs are doing well and ur getting enough rest @Bellydance I actually had first counsellor appnt on Tuesday and I think I'll keep it up for a while, it helped to be able to vent my heart out to someone who isn't sick of hearing about it

    @miissalina oh my god!!! 3 out of 4 is a great number! Although I can understand that it has just shifted your focus to implantation/your uterus. Wow. Its answered some questions but opened up others, hey?

    I hope this is a really big step in understanding and solving why you can't get up the duff. If you had crap eggs then there's not much they can do.....so this is really good news.

    Yes, I've got my first appointment tomorrow. Looking forward to getting a plan together. We'll all have to do some counseling and then hopefully we can start a cycle in late July or August.

    @miissalina - I get what you mean about it being heartbreaking for different reasons either way but I do think this can definitely be positive news! There's lots that can be done in regards to immune/uterus problems but embryo problems would turn pretty quickly into donor eggs/sperm I would say. After my four losses last year, this cycle was my first on the Clexane/aspirin/steroid/massive doses of progesterone mix and even though it was still touch and go for my whole first trimester, I'm now sitting pretty at 31.5 weeks (and nervously counting). I was going to add intralipids to my next cycle if I got a bfn or 5th loss. You sound like you have a great plan in motion with both of your specialists taking care of their part in getting you your own take-home healthy bubba. 3 healthy embryo's is great! I only went to a counsellor 4/5 times but in hindsight, that was definitely my turning point in getting me to start crawling out of the bitter, depressed funk I had fallen hard into. I was super skeptical going into my first appointment but I now think it's great (or even a "must-do") for anyone going through infertility and/or loss so I'm so glad you're going. Chin-up babe, you don't even realise how amazingly strong you're already being everyday just by putting one foot in front of the other. You're going to look back one day and blow your own socks off Xxx

    @miissalina wow 3 out of 4 is amazing. ...well done! as the others said its positive news and there is lots can be done moving forwards now that they know this. Good luck with your appt next week and let us know how you go xx you will get there honey
    Hi @Bongley how did your appt go yesterday? So happy its starting to fall into place for you @Ladydee not much longer!
    Hi @Rice, @Bellydance, @Rarah11, @Nezz79, @katiana.
    @babygirl7 hope you're going well.

    We had a tough couple of weeks tbh. Evie had a hearing appt as I was a bit concerned (she passed the newborn screening though). We were told she likely had a mild to moderate hearing loss....this completely freaked me out as my sister has a genetic condition where she is going slowly blind and this is linked with a hearing loss from birth. I'm not ashamed to say I wasn't coping very well but after another test last week she passed! We have another in a month to do individual ears but her overall hearing is fine and within normal range. We're so relieved. I think the first test came back fail as she was just 6 mths and its aimed at 7-9 mths so did it again at 7 and all good. It made me realise, we worry about getting pregnant, we worry when we are pregnant then worry once your child is here! Just wanted to share

    Hope you're all good xx

    @Molros I'm sure the worrying never stops but glad all ok.
    @Ladydee how exciting not long now!!
    @Bongley how was your appointment must feel good to be starting to put plan into action!
    @Missilina great result!

    I had a nine week scan (at my request) and all good, next step is the NIP test on Tuesday followed by my 12 week scan on 10th july... I'm in the middle of pretty much permanent nausea which is reassuring although cannot wait to get the 12 week scan done as well as get the other results from NIP.

    Hope everyone else is doing ok.

    @Molros so sorry to hear you went through that stress its always awful to think your child might be sick in some way, such a helpless feeling
    @Rarah11 good luck for the upcoming tests and scan. So glad everything is A-ok so far!

    AFM myself, my partner and my donor all had an appointment on friday and it went well. My FS recommended a synarel trigger for my donor and a freeze all then natural FET for me. So that's what we will do. A bit frustrating that there won't be a fresh transfer but heck, whats another few weeks eh?
    Also, PGD is on the cards seeing as Genea now charge $750 per embryo (instead of the 4K flat rate) that will take some of the worry out of a pregnancy. Plus it bumps up the chances of success from about 30% to 65%
    Now to do the group counseling and hopefully we can get started soon.

    take care everyone!
