Thanks gals, I wish less eggs meant better quality, unfortunately I think it just means worse odds 5 last cycle due to 'empty' follicles and none made it to blastocyst stage. So I am praying for 6+ this time. We will see..........

congrats @Nezz79 how perfect is that you lucky gal!
@Rice that is exciting! Not long to go now, let us know how the scan goes.

@Bongley I only got 2 eggs this last cycle- so had no option to grow to blast, so aimed for a 8 cell day 3 emby, which turned into this bubba. I know it's hard, as like you I've never had a frostie. It was such a shock to go from 9ish eggs with dd to 3 then 2 for this one, but as they always say, you only need one! Good luck and go easy on yourself

Hi gals, I got seven with one possibly being immature. Considering my flaky left ovary I'm ok with that. Just hope one gets to blasty this time.......

@Bongley that is fantastic news im Hoping you get six blasts 😊 how are you feeling? Do they give you GA for EPU or just light sedation? Hope dp is looking after you well
I had a lap, hysteroscopy and D&C last year in sept they found mild endo which they removed I'm hoping it hasn't come back as I've read oestrogen feeds it and given all my stims and high oestrogen I wouldn't be suprised I just get so frustrated my own FS hasn't suggested this she's so complacent with me now I feel like she's just throwing embryos back and not listening or doing anymore exploring I'm so torn the new FS I seen yesterday was amazing new ideas new perspective but my phi doesn't kick in until September so I'll be oop 9k including PGD testing if I change where as I stay where I am I'm oop 4.5k with PGD now I have a head ache again lol I just feel horrible everyone is getting success and I'm not getting anywhere it's depressing @frogpossum thanks Hun I def need to get looked at I just wish my FS was more pro active she probly thinks I'm a hypercondriact @Rice cannot believe how quick everyone's pregnancies are going cannot wait to see some photos when the little ones are born, good luck for ur scan so exciting 😊

@miissalina it's so hard trying to balance getting better service without going bankrupt. I went for a private clinic to begin with then a cheap one when I realised it was a numbers game for me and we had run out of money.
How many embryos have you transferred now?

@Bongley this last transfer was embryo number 5 the FS yeaterdY said given my age weight lifestyle and dp there is no reason it shouldn't be working that's y he suggested the PGD testing he said 5transfers is a lot for someone my age kinda made me abit worried but it was nice to hear someone acknowledging that it's not ok, my current FS just keeps saying right embryo right environment.
If it was guaranteed Id pay anything no questions asked but I just think it's not guaranteed and how much do we want to live working so much and feeling like we have nothing to show for it, we can afford it right now but if it goes on to 4/5 cycles again with the new bunch then we are getting loans and refinancing the house to do back to back cycles the new FS even suggested us waiting until phi kicks in I personally don't want to wait but I guess he's thinking logically

@miissalina Yeah, that is a lot of embryos for your age but on the other hand you could just have been (very) unlucky. Can you request another round of investigations (lap and hysteroscopy etc) and try the PGD testing with the cheaper clinic and then move to the other clinic when the phi kicks in next year? Or does it all get used up? I'm not sure how it works.

@Bongley that's what we have kinda decided on, tell my current FS I want investigations then transfer the last frozen embryo after lap ect if that fails use them for the PGD testing and if the embryos are normal we can transfer them to the more expensive clinic this new FS I seen also treats nk cells that I have been diagnosed with that's originally why I went and seen him for his opinion but he said he won't treat me for them unless I use him for the ivf as well because he doesn't want to be on the side he thinks I should be treated as a whole not just one FS here and another specialist over there which I do agree with in a way
So with that plan I wouldn't be doing another transfer until the new year
It's frustrating how much money comes into play with decision making :/
    How are you feeling?

@miissalina yeah you don't really go into IVF thinking it will be for 5 (or 10!) cycles. Money really, really adds to the stress and pressure which is terrible enough.

I am feeling good thanks, EPU is usually fine for me and I'll go back to work tomorrow. The next week is going to be hard hearing those numbers drop. If I can get an 8 cell on day 3 (sat) I'll be stoked. We are trying PICSI this time so I'm not sure what the fert rate tomorrow will be. Its normally pretty good with IVF so it was a bit of a risk deciding to change it to PICSI.
