Just incase anyone wants to follow our twins progress, we have set up a facebook page (as its central for all of our family/friends...and after all of the months we have gone through this ivf roller coaster together, and my not so normal pregnancy together, I consider you ladies friends for sure!).
    Xx

@Megsarama26 congrats and well done. I didn't realise they were here. So glad to see the photos of them on the other thread.

@Megsarama26 - congrats on the birth of Aiden and Abigail. Have joined your Facebook page and looking forward to hearing their progress each day. Considering they were preemie they look to be good size (and especially for twins) - or are looks deceiving in the photos you have put up ?

    How is everyone doing ?

Does anyone live in South West Sydney that can recommend someone for acupuncture ?

Also have any of your FS mentioned to you about sauerkraut or tamari soy sauce. I didn't quite follow the whole way about what is beneficial but apparently have "amines" in them which can be beneficial for egg quality ? Has anyone heard or know anything about this ?

    --
AFM - Saw my FS specialist for another scan, CD12 - and have been on Progynova 6mg and Prednisone 20mg for the past 8 days.

No action on L) ovary, R) ovary has 1x 10mm follicle (not that we really need it for FET but need to know where we are in the cycle for transfer). Endometrium remains thin, but is starting to show signs of a triple stripe (?not sure exactly what this means but apparently is good). For some reason I have free fluid in my cervix, but on ultrasound measurement was around the 3mm mark which she said wasn't anything to worry about.

I haven't responded as well as she would have liked to the Progynova 6mg so after a 2nd scan today she has increased this to 8mg, along with the Prednisone 20mg. I am to be rescaned next Monday - CD18 to see if lining is better. If not then I am stopping that and trying something called Letrozole - apparently it is used in Breast cancer but is showing similar response like Clomid to prepare you for ovulation but without the side effect profile. If we need to use that - then will be doing some more bloods - E2, LH and P4 (hormone profile I assume - haven't checked it out yet)

I mentioned to her about the clexane and aspirin that some of you have mentioned but she did not seem to think it was necessary - and from her research she said there had been no concrete evidence of it being effective.

I know DH is feeling a bit disappointed in the whole IVF process and feels that after 4x transfers and still no response if our FS is on the right track. After hearing ads on the radio and talking about other treatment before IVF he felt like we had been pushed into IVF without testing all other avenues first.

As I thought - and was confirmed by her today - the laparoscopy, D&C and tube test for flow (can't remember it's term) had diagnosed me OK, despite having endo & PCOS. His motility, morphology and count however are decreased and this can only be solved with IVF/ICSI. Since we are now getting blastocysts obviously we are a step forward, but now need to find out why they are not implanting.

Will update when I know more.

@Agirllikemel good luck for Mondays scan hun

@miissalina no AF as yet hun, she was due Tuesday. Wish she hurries up so I can get to the next phase of the cycle. Stay strong hun, you and hubby will get your sticky one soon.

AFM: waiting on AF, I feel she may be close. Ive been at the hospital with my sick FIL for the last few days and all I see is the pregnant ladies and the newborn babies. Just feel like balling my eyes out 😭 I just don't think I will ever understand how life can be so unfair. Just got to stay positive!
