@Agirllikemel Glad you got some answers from your FS and have a plan of attack for next time. It sounds like she was very thorough and you are in good hands. I did accupuncture (in Melb though so can't recommend in Syd). I found it very relaxing. Not sure whether or not it helped but there are studies that say it helps pre and post transfer. I had 4 transfers in total and for two of them I had accupuncture either before but not after or not at all and got bfns and for the other two I had it before and after and got bfps. They'll probably try to get you to do it weekly as well but not sure if that is really necessary, even though I did it for a while.
I also forgot to mention that after my second m/c a few people told me to try low dose asprin. I asked FS about it who said that it helps with people with a particular condition which he had tested me for and confirmed I don't have. Otherwise it was not proven to help but if I wanted to take it it was up to me as it was not likely to hurt either. I decided to give it a go and am now 13 weeks pregnant. Again I will never know if it was the asprin or just the right embryo but might be worth asking your FS about??

@Molros your words of wisdom really hit a spot so thank u so much when mentioned that ppl set time limits and the point and which on should stop is when it's easier to stop then keep trying really made so much sense I was so hooked on a time limit or amount of transfer but ur right it shouldn't be defined by that but more when I'm ready too , counseling helped abit but then I wasn't cycling and didn't need it so u stopped she is just a regular counsellor maybe I need one who specialises in infertility and ivf abit more acupuncture I have considered many times but I honestly haven't found the time perhaps I will make time next cycle 😊 @Bongley how many cycles did it take u with ur first? This is my fourth and ur right the knock downs get harder and harder I guess because I see the light getting dimmer and dimmer
I have everything crossed ur cycle runs smoothly and hopefully that dud cycle was just a one off @Agirllikemel sometimes I wish she'd give me pregnyl just so I can't obsess over these stupid sticks
I also have been diagnosed with high uterus nk cells I've had two lots of intralipids at my clinic and take steroids for 5days before transfer but that's only because my FS doesn't Beleive it's safe to take after ET I have seen a dr in sydney who specialises In treating nk cells and I will be using his protocol for my next cycle which is higher dose intralipids and steroids from cd1 until BFP and then probly until 3 months of pregnancy I don't have any blood clotting disorder but I am on clexane inj daily post ET I've had 3 chemical pregnancies 1 natural 1 before using any immune treatment and 1 while using my clinics immune protocol I've also had two bfn cycles
AFM got sick of analyzing sticks so got a BT this morning to see if there's any trace of hcg floating around don't hold much hope I no I'm only 7dp5dt but given all my other BFP I feel something would have shown by now

@Bellydance I did the same thing with asprin this round and I am now nearly 9 week pregnant with my twins! I really don't know if it was the asprin or just the right embryos 😊

@Nezz79 that's interesting that it seemed to work for both of us. Again who knows if it did or if just a coincidence but one thing's for sure it is the cheapest treatment we will have through this whole process at $3 a box!
@miissalina every time I see in your signature that you are only 26 it just seems so unfair to me that you are going through this. I know not all fertility issues are age related but it seems particularly unfair. Sorry not a very helpful comment but virtual hugs.

This is such a nice supportive thread. I am so glad that @Rice decided to keep it going when March came to a close.

@Bellydance I often sit back and look at my friends and think I really shouldn't be dealing with this it shouldn't be this hard maybe I've been delt some crap now so I have smooth sailing later in life 😊 @babygirl7 I got sick and tired of analyzing sticks so I did my own BT at work and bfn like I suspected so that was transfer number 4 , how r u going with ur sniffing?
AFM I have some questions well concerns really I no I have immune issues and will be treating them but last month or when ever it was and I had my chemical I started having really sharp stabbing pains in my uterus hcg still going up pain just got worse then I had full bleed passed some tissue rubber stuff not sure what it was FS dismissed it and we carried on while stimming I had those pains again and more weird green discharge like rubber never had anything like it automatically I freaked had std checks and all clear had swab and that was clear that went away and today these pains r back with some little clots it's not a period because I no what that feels like I feel something is wrong but no one seems to be listening either my uterus has infection or something's going on in there does anyone have any ideas on what it could be or tests I could have I'm getting abit frustrated with the fn they act like I'm over reacting and fob me off

@miissalina I'm so sorry it was a BFN that really, really sucks. I don't know what to suggest other than to see another FS or go to your GP. What will you do now, do you have any frosties?

@Bongley we have two frosties so will use them before making the choice to change clinics also I will be starting a full immune protocol costing an extra $1500 per cycle was hoping this one would be my lucky cycle and I could avoid it but it's ok I guess
I'm also abit confused my FS seems to think the amount of day 5 blast we froze is normal I said to her it seems odd that out of 21mature only 12 fertilised with Icsi she said nope that's normal so then ET day she tells me we have two to freeze I asked what happend to the other 9 and she said they either having slowed growing or not suitable to freeze but she's happy with getting that many although I think it's odd so many have dropped off so one min I'm told it's all normal then I ask about cgh testing and she says O we can't do that because we are not getting enough to day 5 to be able to test them because we don't transfer on that cycle we test then freeze all so I left scratching my head if ppl cgh test they obviously get enough to test yet u tell me my cycle was good but we don't get enough to test???? I would just like to no if it's the embryos or my body that's the problem just seems odd to me

It is all so confusing, I'm sorry. Out of the 7 cycles I've done I've had about 65 mature eggs, 7 fresh transfers and none to freeze, mind you I am an old bird. Reading this forum it doesn't seem to be that unusual to have none to freeze from a cycle, never mind enough to test but that was a big haul you got there...

Hang in there @miissalina, I hope one of those frosties is your lucky one (or two)

@Megsarama26 - what an amazing effort

@Bellydance - the Drs swap around at the hospital so it's just luck who you get (sure they're all great though)

@katiana - what a lovely surprise for your family. I'm so much bigger than when I had a single pregnancy that I don't think I could hide it

@Agirllikemel - sorry for your BFN I agree, it just gets harder. We never named our embyros cause didn't want to get attached...not sure anything can cushion the disappointment though

    @miissalina - sorry it's another BFN
It's difficult carrying the guilt of being the cause (my DH has no issues) but I know if roles were reversed I wouldn't blame him or want to be with anyone else
The decision when to stop is so individual. I know people who put money/time/number of cycle limit on it but I always felt we'd know when to stop - I guess when I just couldn't face another cycle. Hoping this isn't something you need to decide & that your frosties left are the ones Will you put both back??
My clinic does 3 day PGD testing so you can test, then put back a fresh tested embryo on day 5.

@Babygirl7 - glad your cycle has started...hope you got all the negativity out and feel fresh to go again

Ps - I'm an asprin success story too! FS said there's no conclusive evidence but it wouldn't hurt if I wanted to use it and the first cycle I tried (cycle 12) we got our son
