Thinking of 4 or 5 nights here in November, any suggestions?

The Havannah, hands down. It's on the north side of Efate (the main Island). Adults only so very quiet and lush. Staff are beautiful, food is amazing. Buses into Port Vila daily (once will be enough). Frederick (manager) and his wife are amazing hosts. They remember your name and make the effort to come and talk to you every day at mealtimes. They gave me the recipe to their Thai beef salad... Amazing. I ate it almost everyday for lunch haha.

ETA: you can canoe/kayak, snorkel in Havannah bay. Turtles, dolphins and dugongs plus loads of fish. You can go on a day charter on their catamaran. They pack lunch and you go fishing/cruising around. They also have a private sunset sail you can do with your partner for a bit of romance. The daily bus to port Vila will also take you via the cascade waterfalls. It's a beautiful place.

I've been to irririki resort. The adults only part. It was lovely. No complaints at all. I'd recommend it.

ETA. .. There's a section of the island that's for families at irririki and it looked really nice too. No first hand experience though from me. I went there before kids.

We stayed at Irririki last year with a 14 month old. It is a fantastic resort, couldn't fault it and they absolutely love kids there!

I just got back from a cruise, and one of the things we did was go down to the holiday inn resort for a swim and a play. It was stunning - I'm deffo going back to stay there.

Did you decide where to go? I'm looking into Ratua island at the moment, which is about an hour by boat from the mainland. I'm a Fiji lover but think it's time I tried Vanuatu - just don't want to be disappointed

Were going north qld instead lol. I want to see the reef before it disappears.
I honestly also had a hard time justifying spending $200+ a night when I know the workers would be earning very little. I know building / running costs might be more but also felt like there was some exploiting going on
