    Default What sticks to wool?

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm making a Where's Wally costume for DS for book week. I have a red knitted beanie but I need to put white stripes on it. can anyone suggest how I can do this? Thanks

Could you just glue some felt on?

That's similar to what I was thinking but is there a specific glue I need to stick to wool? I tried using that iron on glue but that took away the elasticity (sp?) and DS could no longer get it over his head... Oops!
